About SuperFan Gregg (click here to learn more)

Before he was SuperFan Gregg, he was just a Philly kid hyping up the stands as Father Judge High’s mascot back in ’92. The passion started early — and it never stopped.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Gregg Matza — better known as SuperFan Gregg — embodies the heart and soul of Philly sports. From the crack of dawn tailgates to late-night celebrations, Gregg lives for the energy, passion, and community that make Philadelphia fans legendary. A proud alumnus of Father Judge High School, where he served as the school mascot back in ’92, Gregg has been firing up crowds since day one.
These days, you’ll find him posted up at Lincoln Financial Field hours before the gates open — ice-cold jumbo shrimp on the table, honey-whiskey shots lined up, and friends and family by his side. Whether it’s the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, or Sixers, Gregg brings the same Philly pride to every tailgate: big laughs, bigger spirit, and zero naps. Around here, he’s not just a fan — he’s the heartbeat of the lot. Love it, love it.
